Mirrored Furniture YAY or NAY?

I am on the lookout for some mirrored bedside tables.

I found this one at Ross for $99 a while back and regret not purchasing it.

I was hesitant because ideally I want two matching ones for each side of the bed and I was not sure if I would be able to find another just like this one later on.

The ones I have found online are quite a bit more pricey.

Here are some of them:
Z Gallerie $799

Glam Furniture $1245
I love everything about this room!

Pottery Barn $399

Clearly, I missed out by not purchasing the $99 one from Ross! That was such as a bargain compared to the other ones I have found.

Here's to waiting and hoping I find another one at a Ross store in the future...

Desk Turned Makeup Vanity

Last summer I decided to paint an old wooden desk that was passed down to me and turn it into a makeup vanity. I absolutely love this setup better than a regular vanity because of all the drawers the desk has. This has a lot more storage than most typical vanities.

I covered the seat with a damask fabric.

Here are some closeups of what is in and on the vanity:

I have found a new container for my makeup brushes that matches better.

Tray with my perfume bottles.

Of the 8 drawers, I only need 3 to store my makeup. They are divided by lip, eye, and face products.

Here is the drawer for eye makeup.

Lastly, I have the face makeup drawer.

The other drawers that are not pictured of the inside have various miscellaneous products such as makeup bags, brush rolls, craft material, hair dryer, etc.

Now you have a breakdown of how I store my makeup! This concept keeps all my products easily accessible and allows me to see exactly what I have!

How I Store My Makeup Brushes

Rather than keeping my makeup brushes hidden in a drawer, I like to display mine on the countertop in a pretty container. Right now I am using a vase/container from Hobby Lobby. (I found it on sale for $6)

I filled the vase with coffee beans ($4) so that the brushes would stand up. I have seen others use rice or beads but I love the smell the coffee beans give off.

Here is the final product and how I display the brushes on the counter next to two of my jewelry holders.

For about $10, I was able to turn an everyday item into a decoration in my bathroom!
